Creating OV-03 Operational Resource Flow matrices (DoDAF 2.0)
The OV-03 Operational Resource Flow matrix enables you to trace the Resource Flow (DM2rx) which flows between two instances of Performer (DM2) or subtypes.
1 Click View > Matrix Browser.
2 In the Matrix Browser dialog box, select the DoDAF2 view, and select the OV-03 Operational Resource Flow matrix.
3 Click Next.
4 In the Matrix Filters dialog box, complete the settings to open the matrix.
5 Click Finish.
Note For matrices like OV-03 Operational Resource Flow matrix, SV-3 System to System matrix and SvcV-03a Systems to Services matrix, which are using Resource Flows, you can use the relevant diagrams to create the Flows, and later view the Flow as an intersection in the matrix. You can also create the flow by typing the Flow Name in the matrix cell, and later view the Flow updated in the diagram. Matrices using subtypes show the definition types (along with all its subtypes) in matrix rows and columns. For example, for OV-03 Operational Resource Flow matrix, it displays Performer (DM2) along with all its subtypes (Organization (DM2), Service (DM2), System (DM2), and so on) in rows as well as in columns.
