Enabling roaming user profiles
You can enable roaming user profiles, which contain setting and configuration information that enables users to retain their personalized settings even when they log onto different computers on a network.
System Architect stores user settings and connection data to a folder that roams with the user, such as %userprofile%\Application Data.
By default, roaming user profiles are not enabled. Therefore, the SA2001.ini file, which contains the configuration information described above, is put in a local folder path, for example:
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Telelogic\System Architect
When roaming user profiles are enabled, the SA2001.ini file is placed in the roaming folder path, for example:
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Telelogic\System Architect
1 Open the System Architect installation path, usually:
C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect Suite\System Architect
2 Using an XML editor, open the FilePaths.xml file.
3 Locate the ProfilePath Location node.
The default setting is FALSE, like this:
<ProfilePath Location="" UseRoamingProfile="FALSE">
4 Change the UseRoamingProfile value to TRUE:
<ProfilePath Location="" UseRoamingProfile="TRUE">
