Working with Focal Point^® profiles in encyclopedias that use a workspace is not different that working with encyclopedias that do not use a workspace. However, if the workspace encyclopedia is a baseline, it is read-only.

For baseline encyclopedias, use the SA-Focal point integration screen to work with a profile, and to export from a profile, but you cannot save any changes to the profile. The reason is that a profile is a definition, and as such, you cannot update that definition if the encyclopedia is read-only. If you try to save or delete a profile, you will receive a message stating that the profile cannot be saved or deleted.
