Configuring data attributes as criteria in Focal Point®
You can configure Focal Point® to prioritize integer type attributes as criteria automatically.
1 Open the Criteria module in Focal Point®.
2 If you want to configure only one attribute, edit the “Estimate” attribute. If you want to configure more than one attribute, create separate criteria, or create criteria views and edit estimates under each of the elements separately.
3 When prompted to select the module that contains the Estimate attribute, select the module into which you exported your data, for example, SA Workspace.
The module shows all integer attributes you can select as criteria. This links your data attributes to criteria. Optionally, you can specify whether to minimize or maximize the “Objective” attribute for the criteria you are configuring.
The attribute you select for the criteria determines the priorities and it eliminates the need to run pairwise comparisons.
Visualizations you perform automatically prioritize data elements based on the configuration above.
