Whenever the heat map is enabled in the System Architecture diagram, the analytics appear as checkboxes on the right side. The Apply Rank Macro provided by System Architect only works on the Rank field of the Application definition. Any changes to this field may cause the macros (Heat Map) not function properly. Such changes include the following scenarios:
▪Manually entering a value in the Rank field (without importing it from Focal Point®).
▪Modifying the fields through any other means (for example, with the USRPROPS.TXT extensibility file).
▪Mapping the Rank field Focal Point® to a field other than the field that is mapped by default.
To apply the rank
1 Check the Analytics which you want to apply, for example, "Top Ranked, " "Middle Ranked" and so on.
2 Click on the Click to apply the selected analytics icon. As shown below, the Application symbols on the current diagram are depicted with their corresponding colors, as applied by the macro.
