OSLC Link definition
The OSLC Link definition type is part of the repository metamodel and serves to link artifacts to external resources through OSLC. Definitions have properties with values that repository artifacts use to link to other OSLC-compliant resources. They are automatically created for diagrams and definitions that you link to resources.
The OSLC Link definition type has standard properties, plus some OSLC-specific properties:
In the definition edit dialog, you can place the cursor in the property field and see a description of that property at the bottom of the dialog. The properties are also shown in the lower pane of the Properties window.
OSLC‑specific properties
Description
This field is standard for any definition.
Link Type
You can choose from the Elaborates, Implemented by, or Implements.
Target Name
Name of the artifact to which the definition is linked.
Target Type
Type of the artifact to which the definition is linked, for example, Defect, Change Request, or Enhancement.
OSLC Provider type
Indicates the given OSLC provider type. Types include CM (Change Management), RM (Requirements Management), QM (Quality Management), (AM) Architecture Management, among others.
