Associating System Architect encyclopedias with project areas for linking
IBM Rational products that are based on the Jazz platform, such as IBM Rational Team Concert or Design Manager, store artifact containers in project areas. Associating a System Architect encyclopedia with a project area makes the diagrams and definitions in the encyclopedia available as resources that the products based on the Jazz platform can consume.
1 In the project area of Rational Team Concert or Design Manager, click Add in the Associations bar.
2 Click the Application field and select the System Architect OSLC provider.
3 In the Authentication dialog box, enter your user name and password.
4 From the Artifact Containers list, select a container and click OK.
5 Save the project area to complete the association.
Result
Diagrams and definitions in the encyclopedias are available as resources for other tools to consume.
