The System Architect extension to Design Management adds Jazz server-based capabilities to System Architect. This integration allows you to import diagrams into the Design Management server. Using Design Management tools, you can create reviews to collaborate on diagrams among team members.

Design Management provides dashboards that can display reports in a variety of format, such as tables and bar charts. The reports can contain combined data from System Architect, Focal Point and Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM).

Teams can collaborate with peers and stakeholders, and review models by using the web client. Teams can also use the linked data capabilities of the Design Management server to establish lifecycle traceability between design artifacts and other lifecycle artifacts, such as requirements and work items.

You must establish cross-server communication so that the Design Management server and System Architect server can interact with each other in a collaborative environment.
