Granting full control to required folders manually
The System Architect XT installation automatically grants the “Full Control” permission to the folders described in Folders and files that require the full control permission. However, if you need to grant the permissions to those folders manually, do this:
1 In Windows Explorer menu, click Tools > Folder Options > View tab.
2 Select show hidden files and folders to ensure you can see the folders and files to which you need to grant permission.
3 In Windows Explorer, right‑click the folder to which you are granting the Full Control permission, and then select Properties > Security tab.
4 Click Add; enter the name of the Domain Account, and then click OK.
The account appears on the Group or user names field.
5 Click once on the account to select it.
6 In the Permissions for Users group, click Allow for the Full Control property.
7 Repeat steps 3-8 for each folder that needs the Full Control permission.
