Working with multiple System Architect Catalog Manager sessions
SACM supports multiple sessions, all of which can show data for the same catalog. This is useful when you need to relate an object from one node that is far removed from the other, vertically. Suppose you expand the Definitions node, and it lists hundreds of definitions, some of which you want to assign to a role. If a definition you need to assign to a role is far down on the Definitions node, you would need to select and copy (or drag) the definition, scroll a long way upwards to the roles node before you can paste (or drop) the definition to a role. By using multiple sessions, you can display the definitions in one session, display the Roles node in a second session, and drag the definition from the first session, and drop it onto a role in the second session.
Only one user may edit a catalog at a time, all other users will have read-only access.
