Catalog permissions
Catalog permissions are granted to users. By default, SACM assigns each new user permission to read the catalog.
Only the user who creates the catalog, or one assigned the role of Administrator, possess the full set of permissions to the catalog, as described below.
CREATE
Allows the creation of new items; e.g. attaching of encyclopedias. The ability to create a catalog is always granted.
READ
This is the default permission for all users, and it allows them to open the catalog and see its contents.
WRITE
Allows the contents of the catalog to be updated.
DESTROY
Allows destruction of items; for example, detaching of encyclopedias. Allows the catalog to be deleted.
