Global permissions
With global permissions, you can complete tasks that typically require global administrator access. Global administrators can grant global permissions to regular users only.
To grant global permissions to a user, from the user menu, select Administration. Click Users and then click Administer Users. Select the user, and click the Edit link to edit the Permissions field.
Note Permissions can also be granted at the workspace level.

Description
Workspaces
Gives access to the Workspaces and Workspace templates views in the General menu. Users can add workspaces and templates and manage the existing ones.
Business Rules
Gives access to the Business Rules view and view the expression queue in the Advanced menu. Users can add and manage business rules on the server.
Global Attributes
Gives access to the Global attributes view in the General menu, where you can add and manage global attributes on the server.
Reports
Gives access to the Report Templates and Report Images views in the General menu. Users can create and manage report templates and report images on the server.
Web services and REST
Allows a user to connect to Focal Point® by using SOAP-based Web services or Rest calls. By default, this permission is granted to all users.
