LDAP settings
You can use an LDAP server to retrieve user data.
For information about enabling an LDAP server, see Enabling LDAP server settings.
After LDAP is enabled and the LDAP settings are configured, an LDAP button is included in the Add User view of the Users menu. If you click this button, the user information is fetched from the LDAP server. The LDAP feature does not support automatic updates. If you enabled the LDAP feature, you can view these LDAP settings:

Property
Description
LDAP URL
The address of the LDAP server
LDAP Base
The start point for LDAP queries
Full Name
The attributes that are copied to the title attribute for the user
Description
The attributes that are copied to the description attribute for the user
User Name
The attribute that corresponds to the corporate ID
E-mail
The attribute that corresponds to the email address of the user and that is copied to the Email attribute
In the Query ID field, you can enter a corporate ID and test the LDAP settings.
LDAP verification is available only if it is enabled by using SQL commands. LDAP verification checks all the users in the database and lists the users who are registered but are not found in the LDAP directory.
