Rational Directory Server settings
You can configure the settings for the users who authenticate by using IBM Rational Directory Server.
1 From the User menu, click Administration, and then click Rational Directory Server Settings,
2 Configure the following settings:
Property
Description
Rational Directory Server Host
Name of the server where Rational Directory Server is installed.
This server is the same server that the Rational Directory Server client uses.
Rational Directory Server Port
Port number of the server where Rational Directory Server is installed.
Rational Directory Server Administrator User Name
User name for the administrator account that was defined when Rational Directory Server was installed.
The default user name is tdsadmin.
Rational Directory Server Administrator Password
Password for the Rational Directory Server administrator account.
Rational Directory Server Secure Connection
If this value is set to Yes, you use an encrypted connection to Rational Directory Server.
Note You can download the XML file that lists the Focal Point® users by clicking the here hyperlink. This file can be imported to Rational Directory Server.
