Scheduling the REST client view command

Focal Point^® supports scheduling the option to run the REST Client View commands. When the view commands are scheduled, the commands do not need to be started manually.

Procedure

1 In Focal Point^®, open the workspace.

2 Click the Settings icon

and then, from the Configure group, click REST client view command. Click Add view command.

3 Select a view to add the view command to.

4 In REST Client Command Scheduler section, select Run on specified schedule.

5 Schedule to run the view command at a set frequency:

Frequency	Every	Day	Time
Hourly	Set the hour	-	-
Daily	-	-	Set the time
Weekly	-	Select the day of the week	Set the time
Monthly	-	Select the day of the month	Set the time

6 Click Save.

Examples

To run the view command	Do this
once every three hours	In Every field, select 3 hour.
every day at 08:00 AM	In Time field, select 08:00 AM.
on Mondays at 01:00 AM	In Day field, select Monday, and in Time field, select 01:00 AM.
the first day of every month at 02:00 AM	In Day field, set 1, and in the Time field, select 02:00 AM.

Results

The status of the scheduled job is logged. In the View command window, the information about the last and next scheduled run is displayed in the Last Run and Next Run fields respectively.
