The values of pairwise comparisons determine the priorities of the elements. A comparison that states that Element A is more important than Element B indicates that Element A should have a higher priority than Element B.
The priorities for the elements in a view are calculated by using all of the pairwise comparisons at the same time. If two or more comparisons indicate different priorities, the priorities are set to the best compromises between the comparisons. The final priorities do not always fully correspond to the values of individual pairwise comparisons.
The sum of the priorities of all the elements in a view always equals 100%.
