Global administrators can configure association link types in Focal Point®. The association link types can be used for defining project area associations at a workspace level. Select Administration from the Users menu. Click Application, and then Association Link Types to add or edit the association link types.
The pre-configured OSLC link types are the system link types that cannot be edited or deleted. The association link types defined by the global administrators of Focal Point® can be edited by clicking on the link type name. The link type can be deleted only if it is not used in any of the workspace associations. The link types can be exported during “Selective” workspace export.
The Add Link Type button can be used to define a link type by providing this data:
Name
Provide the name for the association link type.
Link Type URI
Provide a valid URI for the association link type.
Back Link Type URI
Provide a valid URI of the back link for the association link type.
Description
Provide a short description for the workspace administrators to understand the purpose of the link type.
