Lesson 2: Estimate the cost per license
In this lesson, you estimate the cost per license. You create a variable and provide the estimates for low, likely and high value for the license cost.
1 Click the dropdown list below the graphical grid area, and then select the Sales stream.
2 Click the Variables tab.
3 Click Add Variable.
4 Specify the details for the variable:
In the Name field, enter CostPerLicense.
In the Description field, enter Cost per license.
In the Type field, select Triangular.
Enter the first value as 10,000. This is the low value.
Enter the second value as 15,000. This is the likely value.
Enter the third value as 20,000. This is the high value.

5 Click Save.
