Notifications about element changes: example
In this example, you set up a notification, which users can subscribe to, about changes to certain elements. Before you set up this type of notification, ensure that the module contains a link list attribute that links to the Members module. Name this attribute “Keep me posted”.
To configure this notification, you might specify these settings:

This notification sends an email to users in the Keep me posted attribute in the Requirements module when changes are made to the Status, Comments, Release, and Implementation Date.
Base the notification on the view
Select a view with the rule:
All elements in the Requirements module whose type is a folder is false
Ensure that the following attributes are visible in this view: Title, Status, Comments, Release, and Implementation Date. Ensure that the history logs of the Status, Comments, Release, and Implementation Date attributes are activated.
Use date and number format settings of the member
Select a member whose date and number format settings you want to use in the notification.
Send a notification with
Select all changes.
Look for changes every
Select every hour.
Send to members in
Select Attribute: Keep me posted. This attribute is the link list attribute in the Requirements module in which users enters their own user to subscribe to changes.
