Speech recognition allows a user to work with Focal Point by using voice commands. This feature is currently supported only on edit forms and add forms of elements.
Notes
▪ In order to use the speech recognition feature, you must enable the feature on the workspace configuration page.
▪ The speech recognition feature is supported for only secured URLs (https) that are accessed by using the Google Chrome browser.
▪ Since Focal Point uses the Google Web Speech API for speech recognition, support is limited. Also, the user needs internet connectivity in order to use the feature.
▪ In case of inactivity, the speech recognition feature automatically turns off. A user can click anywhere on the form to activate speech recognition again.
