Adding a traceability report template for the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management
To generate traceability reports, you must have report templates. To add a report template, you must modify a .dta file in IBM Rational Publishing Engine for your integration with the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM). Then, you add the .dta file as a report template in Focal Point.
Before you begin
You must be a global administrator.
An administrator with an installed Rational Publishing Engine must modify a predefined .dta file by including valid report user credentials in the file: see Editing a traceability report template in Rational Publishing Engine.
Procedure
1 Click Administration from the User menu. Then, click the General tab, and select Report Templates.
2 Click Add Template.
The Add Report Template page appears.
3 From the Report Target list, select Rational Publishing Engine.
4 Enter a title and description.
5 Click Browse, and then select the modified .dta file.
6 Click OK.
Results
The report template is displayed in the Report Templates list.
