Comparing pairs of elements

You can compare elements in pairs according to one or more criteria.

Comparing elements by single criteria

1 On the Criteria page, add the required criterion.

2 Add the required elements; for example, the elements from the Elements module.

3 Add a view that contains the elements. Set the Prioritize and Visualize attributes to Yes.

4 Link the view to the criterion:

▪ Open the View Manager module and select the view that you added.

▪ For the Criteria attribute, click the Edit icon.

▪ Select the Specific Criterion, and then click Next.

▪ Select the criterion that you added, and then click OK.

5 Click Prioritize, and then click the view that you added on the Prioritize page.

6 In the view, compare the pair of elements.

7 Click Visualize to open the Visualize page; click the view you added. The priorities for the elements are displayed in a chart.

Comparing elements by multiple criteria

1 On the Criteria page, add the required criteria.

2 Add a view that contains the criteria.

3 Add the required elements; for example, the elements in the Elements module.

4 Add a view that contains the elements.

5 Link the views to each other:

▪ Click the Settings icon

, and then, from the Configure group, click Views. Select the view that contains the elements.

▪ For the Criteria attribute, click the Edit icon.

▪ Select Criteria View, and then click Next.

▪ Select the view that contains the criteria, and click OK.

6 Click Prioritize, and then click the view that contains the elements.

7 In the view, compare the pair of elements.

8 Click Visualize to open the Visualize page; click the view that contain the elements. The priorities for the elements are displayed in a chart.
