Troubleshooting the Visualize menu
You cannot always make a pairwise comparison of elements and criteria from the Visualize menu. These ares the situations in which you might not be able to use a feature of the Visualize menu, and the steps you can take to use the features:

Problem
Solution
The view you want to visualize is not listed in the Visualize menu.
Click Configure > Views and change the visualize attribute for the view.
You selected a view with no elements.
Add elements or change the view definition of the view so that it contains some elements.
No criteria are in the Criteria page (Modules > Criteria).
Add one or more criteria on the Criteria page.
The Criteria view for the element view does not specify any criteria.
Add criteria or change the view definition of the Criteria view.
When you select a view from the navigation bar, the message “The view definition is not valid” is displayed
Click Configure > Views, and update the View Definition attribute of the view.
When you select a view from the navigation bar, the message “The chart cannot be visualized” is displayed
Click Configure > Views, and update the View Definition attribute of the view.
If that solution does not work, the error message might indicate that you selected Show All Members Priorities in the pop-up menu, that you use only private criteria, and that no comparisons are made for the criteria.
For information about configuration of criteria and views, see Creating criteria and thresholds.
