Display settings of a view
Editing a view definition involves defining a view rule, the access level for the attributes, and the view settings. You can configure the display settings for a view and define certain default display settings that are applicable only until the user makes a different selection.

Description
Icon Attribute
Icon that is to be displayed to the left of the elements in the view in the tree structure.
Choice attributes and indicator attributes in the module: If you select a choice or indicator attribute, the elements in the view display the icon configured for the value in the selected attribute.
Default: The elements in the view displays the icon based on the icon attribute configured for the module.
None: None, no icon is displayed for the elements in the view.
Color Attribute
Color that is to be displayed to the left of the element information in the tree structure. The color is also displayed in the editable table towards the left of the checkbox in the Select/Deselect all column in the table.
Choice attributes and indicator attributes in the module: If you select a choice or indicator attribute, the elements in the view displays the color based on the value in the selected attribute.
Default: The elements in the view displays the color based on the color attribute configured for the module.
None: No color is displayed for the elements in the view.
Add View
Defines the Add form in the Display view.
Add views defined for the module are listed. The Add button is displayed based on the selected Add view. The add form displays the attributes that are defined as visible or editable for the selected Add view.
Default: The Add button in the Display view is based on the first Add View defined on the module, and the add form displays the attributes that are defined as visible or editable for that view.
None: The Add option is not displayed for the view.
Excel Import View
Defines the attribute mapping page for the view. These options are available for selection:
Add views defined for the module: If you select an Add View, the attribute mapping page displays the attributes based on the definition of the selected Add view.
Default: The attribute mapping page displays the module attributes that are editable in the view.
None: The Update from Excel option is disabled in the table view and editable table view.
Disable Export
Enable or disable data export from table view and dynamic table view to Microsoft Excel or .csv files.
By default, the check box is not selected.
Disable Dynamic Filter
Enable or disable dynamic filters for the view.
By default, the check box is not selected.
Disable Shared Filter
Enable or disable shared filters for the view.
By default, the check box is not selected.
Hide Add Multiple button in Add form
Hides Add Multiple elements option in the Add view
This setting is available only if the view is included in the Add menu.
Hide View in Add Menu
Hides the view in the Add menu.
This setting is available only if the view is included in the Add menu.

Attribute
Description
Default Global Filter
The list of global filters defined for the view is displayed. Select the global filter that is to be set as the default filter for the view.
Display Toolbar
When a view is loaded, the view is displayed in the tree format, by default. Select a display format other than the tree view as the default display format. For example, dynamic table.
Visualize Toolbar
When a view is defined to be included in the Visualize menu, the prioritization results are displayed in a bar chart, by default. Select a visualize format other than the bar chart as the default format. For example, XY chart.
