Consumers (Inbound)

The Consumers (Inbound) menu item lists all of the OSLC applications that consumes the OSLC services provided by Focal Point. The listed OSLC applications are those that register Focal Point as a friend.

To register a consumer, Focal Point must be registered as a friend in an OSLC Application.

To modify the Name, Trusted, and Functional User ID fields, log in to Focal Point, and click Application > Consumers (Inbound). On the Consumers List page, select the host name of the OSLC application.

Global administrators of Focal Point can configure the consumer authentication so that users are not prompted for authentication when data is fetched from the OSLC applications.

Field	Description
Name	Displays the consumer name.
Consumer Key	Displays the consumer key. This field cannot be edited.
Consumer Secret	Displays the Consumer Secret as asterisks. This field cannot be edited.
Trusted?	Enables trusted consumers can share authorization with other trusted consumers and do not require user approval to access data.
Functional User ID	Specify the functional user id.
Save	Saves the changes.
