Lesson 2: Estimate the cost per developer
In this lesson, you estimate the cost to be invested on each developer throughout the project lifecycle. You create a variable to estimate this cost per developer.
1 Click the dropdown list below the graphical grid area and select the Engineering stream.
2 Click the Variables tab.
3 Click Add Variable.
4 Specify the details for the variable:
In the Name field, enter BurdenedLabor.
In the Description field, enter Burdened labor cost per engineer.
In the Type field, select Normal.
Enter the first value as 200,000. This is the mean value.
Enter the second value as 25,000. This is the standard deviation value.

5 Click Save.
