Known issues
Microsoft Active X
Personal interviewing uses a Microsoft ActiveX control when interacting with the location sensor. This may result in the Interviewer seeing the following Windows Security Warning message:
An Active X control on this page might be unsafe to interact
with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?
There are two ways to avoid the warning:
Enable Microsoft Internet Explorer’s Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting setting (Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Custom level).
Set this registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0
(Change the default value of 1201 to 0.)
You may need to close all web browser instances before this change takes effect.
