Changing the active batch
Note Batching is a feature that can only be used with a Data Entry project, or the Data Entry portion of a multi-modal project.
When working with multiple batches, you can change your view from one active batch to another.
To view another batch, do one of these:
Click Select Batch on the Workflow menu, or press Alt+W, S. A submenu, listing the project’s available batches, appears. Click another batch.
Click the arrow next to the Batch menu on the Interviewer Console toolbar, or press Alt+B. The Batch drop-down menu displays the project’s available batches. Click another batch.
After selecting a different batch, Interviewer Console updates its view to display the selected batch (and cases).
Batch menus
The batch menus in the Workflow submenu and Batch drop-down menu display:
the first 9 batches created for the project. If the active project has 10 or more batches, a Show More option is provided. See Show more batches.
a Create New option, allowing you to create a new batch. For more information, see Creating a new batch.
Show more batches
For projects that have more than 10 batches, the batch selection menus display the first 9 batches created for the project, and a Show More option. When Show More is selected, a new Select Batch window appears.
The second Select Batch window lists all active project batches. By default, batches are presented in numerical, then alphabetical order.
To select a batch from second Select Batch window, double‑click its name.
To navigate to a specific batch, you can enter the first batch character.
If the project contains a large number of batches, the window can be re-sized by clicking and dragging a window edge, or by clicking the maximize button in the title bar. If all of the batches cannot be viewed at once, a scroll bar displays, allowing you to scroll through the available batches.
To cancel batch selection, click Cancel.
