UNICOM Intelligence Reporter in other languages
You can display the application in a language other than English. You can change the language at any time by following the appropriate instructions below for your computer’s operating system. Close the application before making these changes. You can change the language back to English at any time or even switch back and forward between various languages.
1 Delete all files (for example, Default_DockingLayout.xml and Options.xml) from the following folders:
For UNICOM Intelligence Author:
%APPDATA%\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Author
For UNICOM Intelligence Reporter:
%APPDATA%\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Survey Reporter
2 Modify the appropriate application configuration file to include the desired culture value. For example, add the following to change the language to French:

For UNICOM Intelligence Author:
%APPDATA%\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Author\Author.exe.config
For UNICOM Intelligence Reporter:
%APPDATA%\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Survey Reporter\Reporter.exe.config
For UNICOM Intelligence Professional:
%APPDATA%\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Professional\mrstudio.exe.config
%APPDATA% is a Windows environment variable that has a different value depending on the Windows version. On Windows 7 and later, %APPDATA% is usually C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming.
If the languages do not display as required, try installing the language into Windows. On Windows 7, go to the Control Panel, and then click Region and Language. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, and then follow the instructions in How can I install additional languages?.
Setting a different language for web-deployed Author or Reporter
In Interviewer - Server Admin, click Options > Preferences, and then select the language for Author or Reporter downloads.
If you have already downloaded Author or Reporter, you must remove the associated files that are in this folder:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
