Changing the variable description language
Provided that translations are available in your survey, you can select the language in which the variable and category descriptions are displayed.
To change the variable description language
1 From the menu, choose File > Properties.
2 In the File Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
3 The Variable description language list contains a list of languages for which translations are available. Select the language you want to use.
4 Click OK.
If the language displayed in your tables does not change, this may be because you are displaying the names and not the descriptions for variables and categories. To change this:
5 From the menu, choose Tools > Options.
6 Click the Display tab.
7 In the Display variables as and Display categories as lists, choose Labels, and then click OK.
