Virtual printer
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper/Scan Add‑on uses a virtual printer to transfer information from the questionnaire to the scanning software. The driver for the virtual printer is included in the installation package, and the UNICOM Intelligence Installation Guide provide instructions for installing the printer.
Before you run the Transfer to Scanning Software command, you must ensure that:
▪the default paper size defined for the virtual printer matches the paper size defined for all of the pages of the questionnaire
▪the resolution set for the virtual printer matches that set for the scanner you will use to scan the questionnaires.
The virtual printer appears with the name SCAN in the Windows Printers folders, where you can adjust its settings.
