Quantum Data File (DAT)
Selects the Quantum CDSC, which writes data to a Quantum-format ASCII file for analysis in Quantum or for generation into a Quanvert database.
Before you transfer the data using Quantum CDSC, ensure that there are appropriate card and column definitions in the questionnaire definition for all of the variables. If these were not defined in the authoring tool, you can define them using Metadata Model to Quantum.
UNICOM Intelligence Database (MS SQL Server)
Writes case data in an UNICOM Intelligence relational database in SQL Server.
If you are also collecting data using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server, you can export the data to the same database. However, UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server serial numbers are generated automatically, which can lead to the potential for serial number conflicts if serial numbers are included in the scanned data.
So when you are sharing a database with UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server data, it is recommended that you do not include a serial number with the scanned data.
You can suppress the serial number from the paper questionnaire using the Ignore System Variables option in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper Load dialog box. The Respondent.Origin system variable distinguishes records collected using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server and UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper/Scan Add‑on.
