Changing the window layout
The panes in the UNICOM Intelligence Professional window can be docked at any edge of the main window, or they can be floating above the main window.
Use standard Windows techniques to rearrange the panes. For example:
Move a pane by dragging its title bar.
When a pane or group of panes is floating, you can double-click the title bar to return it to the position in which it was last docked.
When a pane or group of panes is docked, you can double-click the title bar to return it to the position in which it was last floating.
To dock a floating pane or group of panes, click the title bar and drag it to the edge of the window where you want it to be docked. When you move the mouse pointer over a docking zone, UNICOM Intelligence Professional displays a gray outline that indicates the new docked position. Note that it is the mouse pointer that is the trigger for this behavior and not the edge of the pane you are dragging.
To move one pane out of a group of panes, click the pane's tab and drag it into the desired position.
To a move a floating pane into a group of panes, drag the floating pane's title bar to the title bar of the group.
You can dock a pane below another pane or a group of panes. This is just like docking at an edge of the main window, except that you drag the pane you want to dock to the bottom of the other pane. When you move the mouse pointer over the docking zone at the bottom of the other pane, UNICOM Intelligence Professional displays a gray outline indicating the new docked position.
Restoring the default layout
You can restore the layout that existed when UNICOM Intelligence Professional was first installed on your computer by deleting the three .bin files from this folder:
C:\Users\<your Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\Professional
Do not delete any other files.
