Checking the uploaded files into the shared folder
This topic describes how to make a project available to other users. This step is not necessary if:
you do not want other users to have access to the project or
you are setting up an UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer project that will also be used with UNICOM Intelligence Reporter (see Creating an Interviewer Server project).
After you have uploaded the data files and created the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer project, you must check the uploaded files into the shared folder, so that other users can work with the project.
To check the uploaded files into the shared folder
1 Select the new project in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin project list and click Files.
This opens the Files activity, which lists the uploaded files.
2 Select each file that is required by the project.
3 Choose Actions > Check In.
This checks the files into the shared folder.
4 Click the Home button on the Files toolbar to close the activity.
5 Select the project in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin project list.
6 Click the Unlock Project button .
Your project is now available to the users who have the roles you selected for the project.
