Table Definition Options dialog box
In the Table Definition Options dialog box, you can choose whether UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation is to generate the table description, and if so what it is to be based on.
To open the Table Definition Options dialog box
1 From the menu, choose Tools > Options
2 In the Options dialog box, click the Table Definition button.
Autogenerate table description
Controls how UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation generates the description for new tables. The description is displayed in the Table Description text box in the Table Definition section on the Define tab (see Define tab.
When you select any of the autogenerate options, any descriptions you have entered manually are removed from existing tables and replaced with the autogenerated text. When one of the autogenerate options is in use, UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation automatically regenerates the description whenever you change the structure of the table.
Do not autogenerate table description
This is the default. Use this option if you do not want UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation to autogenerate the description, for example, because you want to enter your own description.
Use the table syntax
Select this option if you want the description to be generated from the table specification syntax. This combines the syntax of the side and top axes.
Use the table syntax (label-based)
Select this option if you want the description to be generated from the table specification syntax, but with the variable names replaced by their descriptions.
Use the side axis syntax
Select this option if you want the description to be generated from the side axis syntax (exactly as it is shown in the Side Definition text box in the Table Definition section on the Define tab).
Use the side axis syntax (label-based)
Select this option if you want the description to be generated from the side axis syntax, but with the variable names replaced by their descriptions.
