You can use the advanced view of the Filter or Edit Category dialog box to create expressions of almost unlimited complexity. Note, however, that once you enter the advanced view, you cannot return to the normal view for this filter or expression.

Click Advanced Edit in the menu on the right side of the Filter dialog box.

In the advanced view, you type the expression into the text box directly. The following commands are available:

Lists all the functions in the UNICOM Intelligence Function Library, showing brief details of their parameters. See Operators for more information.

Validates the expression.

Deletes the entire expression.

Selects the level of the filter. This is relevant only if you are using the hierarchical view of the data. You cannot change the level after you have started defining the filter, so make sure you set the level before you start. See Filtering hierarchical data for more information.
