To allow interviewers to retrieve specific participants from the sample database, select Show Specific Contact button on the Interviewer screen on the Phone Interview Settings page. The Specific Contact button on the main screen of the Phone Participants activity will then be usable. When interviewers click that button, they will be presented with a dialog box in which they can choose whether to retrieve their last contact or search for a contact. If they choose to search for a contact, they can select the field to search and specify the value to search for. The choice of fields to search is determined by the settings in the Show column on the Project Fields page (see Making sample data available to interviewers).
