Viewing rejected synchronization data
When UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer uploads data via the synchronization web service, if there is data in conflict, the web service rejects the data and places it in a path that is defined in the DPM SyncRejectFolder site property. The rejected synchronization package data is available for review via the View rejected synchronization data button:
The button allows you to view the rejected synchronization data, and other related data, in the server database.
To promote rejected synchronization data
When viewing rejected synchronization data, you can select to promote the rejected data to the server database (including the case data and sample information). This is accomplished via the promote button
.
The button must be clicked twice in order to promote the rejected synchronization data. The first click removes the button’s safety shield; the second click promotes the rejected synchronization data to the server database.
Note Promoting rejected synchronization data will overwrite any existing data in the server database, even when the rejected data does not contain completed interview information.
To delete rejected synchronization data
The delete button
that displays next to the rejected synchronization record can be used to permanently delete the rejected data, including uploaded cache files and sample information.
