UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin security protects the following items from unauthorized viewing by web-based or desktop activities:
▪projects
▪project files including questionnaire definitions (.mdd files)
▪sample (participant data) and sample management scripts
▪quota information
▪respondent data.
The security system prevents unauthorized users using complete activities or selected features within an activity. Each user has an account that allows him or her to log in to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin and access any activity for which he or she is authorized.
The user authentication system is based on a combination of UNICOM Systems, Inc.-supplied authentication against an UNICOM Systems, Inc.-format database and NT authentication.
The security system allows you to build activities that use authorization for web-based activities using .Net technologies or desktop activities. It supports developers in building new activities that are secure by prohibiting accidental bypassing of the security system.
Malicious developers who know the administrative passwords can write activities that have access to all DPM objects and folders.
