Updating passwords for UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer components and services
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer components and services are installed with the name and password of the Running User. Many companies have a policy of regularly changing passwords to avoid security breaches. You can update the passwords by using one of the following methods:
Updating passwords manually. You might need to do this if you have added DimensionNet pools for additional websites manually; or you have installed the Mobile SDK; or you cannot run the ChangePasswords utility.
Updating passwords by using the ChangePasswords utility
The ChangePasswords utility enables you to update the passwords of all installed UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer components and services.
You can run it while the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer services are running.
ChangePasswords requires administrator rights: if you cannot run it, see
Updating passwords manually.
1 Change the account passwords for the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Running User and Anonymous Access User by using the standard Windows tools. (ChangePasswords cannot change these passwords.)
2 In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder in which UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer is installed, for example:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Interviewer Server\
3 Right-click ChangePasswords.exe, and then click Run as administrator.
The Change Password Utility dialog opens, showing the current domain name and user name.
4 In the Password fields, type the new passwords for the Running User and the Anonymous Access User.
