Starting with version 6, you can customize XSL templates in the HTML Player. The Default XSL templates and the Intermediate XML schema are provided to assist in the customization of XSL templates. This section describes how the Intermediate XML schema works in the HTML Player. See Default XSL templates for information on the default XSL templates.

Intermediate XML defines the question controls. HTML Player creates the schema against the Player XML and transforms it to HTML source for questions controls via the Question.xsl template.
