Overview of the UNICOM Intelligence Author wizard creation process
Questionnaire wizards in UNICOM Intelligence Author work through the interaction of three distinct questionnaire definition (.mdd) files:
Target: The .mdd file where the results of the wizard will be inserted. From the user’s perspective, this is the file currently open in UNICOM Intelligence Author.
Source: The .mdd file that contains the basic structure for the question, and points to an associated Wizard .mdd file. A UNICOM Intelligence Author user selects the Source .mdd when inserting a wizard item.
Wizard: The .mdd file that contains the wizard questions. When the user inserts a questionnaire wizard item, questions from the Wizard .mdd asks them for information that is then used to modify the Source .mdd.
To create a new questionnaire wizard, you must create the Source and the Wizard, and then put them where UNICOM Intelligence Author users can access them: in a local library, the UNICOM Intelligence Question Repository, or the appropriate project template _files directory.
