Activating an interview
When you have finished developing and testing your interview, you can activate it so that it can be used for interviewing in UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server.
To activate an interview
1 From the Tools menu, choose Activate.
This opens the activate Login dialog.
The Login dialog might not appear if UNICOM Intelligence Professional's Show Login Dialog option is set to false (see UNICOM Intelligence Professional options).
2 Complete the fields in the Login dialog as follows, depending on whether you are connected to the same local network as the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server cluster and have access to the FMRoot shared folder on the primary DPM server:
If you are connected to the local network. In “Destination Server or UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin URL”, enter the name of the primary DPM server in the target UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server cluster, or select the name from the list if you have activated to this server before. Then select Login using my Windows account or Login As UNICOM Intelligence User, and if required enter the user name and password to use.
If you select Login As UNICOM Intelligence User, the user name that you enter will automatically have access to the interview (project) in UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin.
If you are not connected to the local network. In “Destination Server or UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin URL”, enter the URL that you use to login to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin on the target UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server cluster, for example:

Alternatively, if you have activated to this URL before, you can select it from the list. Then select Login As UNICOM Intelligence User and enter the user name and password to use.
3 Click Login.
4 The activation dialog opens: Using the Activation Option in UNICOM Intelligence Professional.
To activate an interview from the Start menu
You can activate an interview without having to start UNICOM Intelligence Professional. This option might be useful for organizations in which activation is performed by someone other than the scriptwriters. To do this, from the Windows Start menu, choose Programs > UNICOM Intelligence 7 > Professional > Activate.
The activate Login dialog opens: see Using the Activation Option in UNICOM Intelligence Professional.
