Creating the site preparation file and folder
1 Log on as the Installing User.
2 Go to the folder that the installation program is in, and then double‑click setup.exe.
The UNICOM Intelligence Server Installer window opens.
3 Click Install UNICOM Intelligence Server.
The UNICOM Intelligence Server Setup wizard starts.

5 When the installation has finished, you must share the mrInterviewSiteInstallation folder:
In Windows Explorer, go to the mrInterviewSiteInstallation folder, right-click it, and then click Properties. On the Sharing tab, select Share this folder. Click Permissions, and then add the Installing User and the UNICOM Intelligence Group.
Select Features
The services and utilities to be installed should be already selected (based on the information that is in the DataCollectionSitePrep.ini file). If they are not selected, cancel the installation; copy the DataCollectionSitePrep.ini file next to the "UNICOM Intelligence Server <version_number> (x64).exe" in the UNICOMIntelligence\win64\Server folder; and then run the installation program again.

Site Install Destination
Enter the name of the site preparation folder. The default value is:
c:\mrInterviewSiteInstallation
Cluster Machines
Enter the names of the computers that will host the Interview, Web, and Accessories Services. You can also specify the UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation, UNICOM Intelligence Reporter Server Edition, and UNICOM Intelligence Author Server Edition server names if you selected to also install the applications. The names must be computer names (not domain names, aliases, IP addresses, or any other name). Lists of names must be separated with semicolons. If you want to communicate using a port other than the default port 80 or you want to use SSL for greater security, click Advanced, and then complete the following steps. Otherwise, click Next.
1 When you click Advanced, the Advanced Cluster Configuration dialog lists the names of the servers you specified on the previous page. For each server shown, enter the port number you want to use and, if you want to use SSL, select SSL. Your changes are saved as soon as you make them.
2 To enter specifications for a different server, select it from the appropriate list, and then change the port number and/or SSL setting as necessary.
3 Click Apply.
4 On the Question dialog, click Yes if all the URLs shown are correct, or No if you want to make further changes.
5 When you are ready to continue, click Next.
Cluster Server Selection
Choose the computers that will run the Interviewing Web, Image Cache Web, and (if appropriate) Phone Interviewer services. Click Next.
Select the Configure multiple instances for the Web, Accessory, and Interviewing tiers option if you want to configure multiple virtual directories, session engines, and Web services. Depending on what you chose to install on the Select Features page, you might be presented with a combination of the Interviewer Server Administration Virtual Directory Configuration, Interview Session Engine Configuration, and Interview Web Service Configuration dialogs.
If you selected to install any of the following features, you are presented with the Interviewer Server Administration Virtual Directory Configuration dialog that provides options for configuring the number of virtual directories that will be installed per server:

▪Phone Interviews
▪Remote Administration
▪Survey Tabulation
▪Survey Reporter Server Edition
▪Author Server Edition
If you select Interview Service, the Interview Session Engine Configuration dialog displays and provides options for configuring the number of session engines for each selected UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer server.
If you select Web Service, the Interview Web Service Configuration dialog displays and provides options for configuring the number of Web services for the selected Web servers.
