Changing a user property's definition
1 Click the Edit user properties icon This graphic is described in the surrounding text. in the toolbar.
The Edit User Properties dialog opens.
2 Under Property Groups, click the group whose properties you want to change and, when the line is shaded gray, click the Edit property icon in the frame's title bar.
This opens a new page listing the properties defined for the group.
3 Under User Properties, click the property you want to change and, when the line is shaded gray, click the Edit property icon in the frame's title bar. This opens the property's definition for editing.
4 Change the properties. If you add options in the middle of the list, they appear at the end of the list when the pages are redrawn.
If you change a property’s data type, User Administration warns you that this will invalidate all user assignments of this property. If you need to change the data type, you might find it easier to create a new property with a different name or to delete the property and recreate it with the new data type.
5 Click Apply.
6 Repeat these steps to change other properties.
7 Click Close.
