Licensing UNICOM Digital Transformation Toolkit
Use of UNICOM® Digital Transformation Toolkit (UDTT™) is controlled by a license file; the license file is checked by the UNICOM® Licensing Technology (ULT) License Server. You must configure the ULT License Server to deploy license files to UDTT and your UDTT applications.
About the ULT License Server
The ULT License Server (ult_licesrv) is a centralized repository for license files.
The License Server can be run as:
a console application
a Windows service (there is a command line utility to install the License Server as a Windows service)
a UNIX daemon (this must be installed by the system administrator).
The License Server can also be used in two modes:
interactive mode enables you to manage licenses, for example, import new licenses; see Managing licenses.
report mode enables you to get information about the License Server; see Monitoring the ULT License Server.
