A panel study is one in which the same set of respondents is asked the same set of questions at periodic intervals. The data belonging to one period in the study is called a wave. Since a panel study database is designed to enable users to look at more than one database (wave) at a time, there are many similarities between creating a panel study database and creating a multiproject database.
