Weighting report file
If your run contains weighting, the weighting program generates a report of the weights for each cell in each matrix. For example, if the weighting matrix is defined as:
wm1 age sex;target;100,125,175,75
...and there are 20 respondents in each cell, the weighting report is as follows:
Summary of Weighting Matrix 1 1 Given 100.00 125.00 Counts 20.0 20.0 Weights 5.000 6.250
2 Given 175.00 75.00 Counts 20.0 20.0 Weights 8.250 3.750 |
For each weighting matrix Quantum also reports:
▪the lowest and highest weights calculated
▪the ratio of the highest weight to the lowest weight (highest/lowest)
▪the effective base. This is calculated as:
(sum of weights)2 / sum of squared weights
Quantum displays these statistics on the screen and prints them beneath the matrix in the weighting report file.
