Correcting a failed backup
You can run the following command to check the status of a backup:
ADMIN COMMAND 'status [backup | netbackup]'
When solidDB is performing a backup (local or network) the command returns the value "ACTIVE".
After the backup is completed, the command returns either "OK" or "FAILED".
If the backup failed, you can find the error message that describes the reason for the failure in the solmsg.out file in the database directory. Correct the cause of the error and try again.
