Modifying navigation and settings
You can modify Dashboard settings by clicking SETTINGS in the Dashboard navigation menu.
You can change the following settings:
Graph poll frequency: How often Dashboard collects pmon values from the server.
Server info poll frequency: How often Dashboard refreshes the server and database statistics from the server.
Navigation menu poll frequency: How often Dashboard refreshes the navigation menu.
Default view: The view that is displayed when Dashboard is opened. You can select from the list of views in the navigation menu.
Note The values that you set for polling intervals affect only the frequency with which Dashboard polls the solidDB server, and not the frequency with which the server collects pmon statistics. The frequency with which pmon statistics are collected is controlled by the following parameters in the [Srv] section in the solid.ini file:
PmonHistoryInterval
PmonHistoryLimit
For information about configuring the parameters, see Setting parameters by using the solid.ini configuration file.
